SUMMARY:Southwest Regional AA Service Assembly (SWRAASA)
DESCRIPTION:PURPOSE OF ASSEMBLY: \n\n\n\nFor those in the Southwest Region of Alcoholics Anonymous to learn and share about the General Service Structure at the group\, district\, area\, and conference levels\, and to share information on the trusted service positions within that framework \n\n\n\nSWARAASA OCT 2026 – A SOCIETY OF RECOVERED ALCOHOLICS IN ACTION \n\n\n\nArea 67 is excited to host this event! We do need the area’s help to ensure this \n\n\n\nevent is a success. We have A.A.s attending from our other regions of Oklahoma\, \n\n\n\nEast Missouri\, West Missouri\, New Mexico\, Arkansas\, Kansas\, Southeast Texas\, \n\n\n\nNortheast Texas\, Northwest Texas\, and Colorado\, as well as our Southwest Texas \n\n\n\nattendees. We are asking for contributions from the districts\, groups\, as well as \n\n\n\nindividuals. These contributions go to help the area fund travel and rooms for the \n\n\n\nspeakers\, and materials to aid participants and other needs the assembly will \n\n\n\nincur. \n\n\n\nWe know the event is still a ways off\, but the committee is in full swing. The \n\n\n\nprocess has begun and financial commitments have been made. \n\n\n\nWe are asking districts and groups to check your current budget for monies \n\n\n\navailable to contribute immediately. \n\n\n\nWe are also asking districts and groups to please consider adding SWRAASA into \n\n\n\nyour 2026 budgets too. \n\n\n\nIndividuals please contribute as you are able. \n\n\n\n****Contributions can be made by use our QR code found on the flyer\, website or \n\n\n\nby check\, please make checks payable to: SWRAASA \n\n\n\nAnd mail to: SWRAASA 2026 Committee \n\n\n\n148 S Dowlen Rd\, #21 \n\n\n\nBeaumont\, TX 77707 \n\n\n\nIt will be 22 years until we are hosting SWRAASA again.
