It is where trusted servants and AA members from across New Mexico come together to share information\, discuss matters affecting Alcoholics Anonymous\, and carry the group conscience of the Area. \n\n\n\nShould I Attend?\n\n\n\nAssemblies are intended for: \n\n\n\n\nGeneral Service Representatives (GSRs)\n\n\n\nDistrict Committee Members (DCMs)\n\n\n\nArea Officers and Committee Chairs\n\n\n\nAny AA member interested in General Service\n\n\n\n\nYou do not need to hold a service position to attend. Members who want to learn more about how AA functions beyond the group level are encouraged to participate. \n\n\n\nWhat Happens During the Weekend?\n\n\n\nFriday \n\n\n\n\nFellowship activities and opportunities to connect with members from around the Area\n\n\n\nSpeaker meeting hosted by the local District\n\n\n\nNo Assembly business is conducted\n\n\n\n\nSaturday \n\n\n\n\nCommittee meetings\, orientations\, and service workshops\n\n\n\nBusiness sessions and Area reports\n\n\n\nDiscussion of motions\, budgets\, bids\, and other Area business\n\n\n\nFellowship activities and delegate sharing\n\n\n\n\nSunday \n\n\n\n\nVoting on Assembly business\n\n\n\nReports from committees\, districts\, and trusted servants\n\n\n\nAsk-It-Basket and Assembly closing\n\n\n\n\nWhether you are attending your first Assembly or have years of service experience\, we invite you to join us for a weekend of service\, fellowship\, and participation in Alcoholics Anonymous. \n\n\n\nPlease use the resource links on this page for registration\, agendas\, virtual participation\, lodging\, dining\, and other Assembly information.
