Suggested 7th Tradition Support
Each group in AA ia autonomous and any support made by the group should be decided by Group Conscience. In terms of collections, a group should cover their group expenses first. Secondly, the group should fully fund a prudent reserve. Finally, it has been shown that groups should not hold significant balances above their prudent reserve. Alcoholics World Services suggests the following distribution in their pamphlet, Self Support: Where Money and Spirituality Mix: 10% to District, 10% to Area, 30% to GSO, 50% to Central Office.
