Southwest Regional AA Service Assembly (SWRAASA)

PURPOSE OF ASSEMBLY: 

For those in the Southwest Region of Alcoholics Anonymous to learn and share about the General Service Structure at the group, district, area, and conference levels, and to share information on the trusted service positions within that framework

SWARAASA OCT 2026 – A SOCIETY OF RECOVERED ALCOHOLICS IN ACTION

Area 67 is excited to host this event! We do need the area’s help to ensure this

event is a success. We have A.A.s attending from our other regions of Oklahoma,

East Missouri, West Missouri, New Mexico, Arkansas, Kansas, Southeast Texas,

Northeast Texas, Northwest Texas, and Colorado, as well as our Southwest Texas

attendees. We are asking for contributions from the districts, groups, as well as

individuals. These contributions go to help the area fund travel and rooms for the

speakers, and materials to aid participants and other needs the assembly will

incur.

We know the event is still a ways off, but the committee is in full swing. The

process has begun and financial commitments have been made.

We are asking districts and groups to check your current budget for monies

available to contribute immediately.

We are also asking districts and groups to please consider adding SWRAASA into

your 2026 budgets too.

It will be 22 years until we are hosting SWRAASA again. Please participate in

helping our area fulfill its commitment of being self-supporting in this event.
