Hi, I’m Ray, and I’m an alcoholic.
If you’re listening to this and wondering whether you belong here, I want to say this as clearly as I can: you are not alone, and you are not beyond help.
I was broken when I got here. Not just physically, but spiritually. I had burned bridges, lost jobs, and lost hope. I thought I was different. Too far gone. But in these rooms, I met people who had done what I had done—some had done worse—and they were sober. They had peace. They had purpose.
And they told me, “You can have this too—if you’re willing to do the work.”
AA gave me my life back. No—it gave me a life I never imagined.
So if you’re still suffering, just know: you don’t have to stay stuck. There’s a seat here for you. There’s hope. All you have to do is ask for help.
We’ll walk with you.
Thanks for letting me share.
