Speaker Meetings — Listening for the Truth

Speaker meetings center on one person telling their story:
what it was like, what happened, and what it’s like now.

For many of us, this is where something shifts.

We stop comparing.
We start identifying.

The Big Book puts it simply:

“We felt that they were a hundred per cent like ourselves.” (p. 58)

You don’t have to speak. You don’t have to explain yourself.
You can just sit and listen.

And sometimes, that’s enough.

If you’re new, try a few different meetings. Your room is out there.tings. Your room is out there.
